Corrine Josephine (Donati) Zulpo
Corrine J. Zulpo was born June 9, 1921 in Rosati, Missouri to the late Emilio Donati and Francesca (Amedei) Donati, and entered into rest Monday, July 26, 2010 in Cuba, Missouri. She celebrated 64 years of marriage to Joe Zulpo on July 13. Survivors include her husband, Joe, of the home; two sons, Joseph of Rosati and Steven of Chesterfield, Missouri; one grandson, Matt; one great granddaughter, Mariah, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two sisters, Concetta "Chetty" Pardee and Bruna Marie Cuccarollo. Corrine was preceded in death by one son, Marion; two brothers, Louis and Mike Donati, and three sisters, Sr. Anita Donati, Delphine Krewson and Lena Marchi. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed making bread and other Italian dishes, crocheting and helping to raise and harvest grapes on the family farm. Corrine was a life long member of St. Anthony Church in Rosati and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies' Auxiliary. She also worked at the polls for many years as an election judge.
Visitation Wednesday, July 28, 6:00pm-8:00pm at James and Gahr Mortuary in St. James with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Funeral services Thursday, July 29, 11:00am at St. Anthony Church in Rosati with Fr. Charles Pardee officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Rosati. Memorials can be made to St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Cards are available at all James & Gahr locations. For online condolences, please visit www.jamesgahrmortuary.com.
